R Ranch Goldens
Breeding CHAMPION GOLDEN RETRIEVERS Since 1985.
Breeders of Champion English Golden Retrievers
Welcome to R Ranch Goldens. You’ll find R Ranch in Northern California, tucked into the middle of a lush orchard. We’re in the small farming community of Orland just 10 minutes from Interstate 5.Just an hour and 15 min north of Sacramento and/or an hour and 15 minutes south of Redding
We’ve been raising top quality champion golden retrievers since 1985. Our puppies are whelped and raised indoors. As soon as they are old enough, they enjoy the freedom of wonderful romps outside on the ranch. The daily activities of ranch life provide an array of sights and smells to investigate. From the other adult dogs, cats, and chickens to Tug-a-War with the Grandchildren. Play times here make for a very well rounded and socialized puppy.
As a service to our puppies and their new owners ENS starts at 3 days of age and continues until Jump Start training takes over. By five to six weeks the puppies have received their first shots, along with worm prevention and will have started on their house training. By week eight they are doggy door trained and have been introduced to happy time in a crate.
R Ranch dogs are all AKC registered with multiple World and International champions in their lineage, with some carrying titles of their own. At or before two years of age, our adult dogs are x-rayed to receive their certification by OFA/Pennhip to be clear of any hip dysplasia or joint problems,. We also take our dogs to Board Certified Veterinarians to obtain OFA heart and eyes clearances as well as using "Paw Print Genetics " for their 5 panel Golden Retriever genetic testing. Beauty, Service work, Mild temperaments, Breed standards, Show quality, Longevity, and Wonderful dispositions are what R Ranch dogs are known for.
If you are looking for that perfect addition to your family, whether it be for show, service animal prospect, or that new lifetime companion, then you can find it here at R Ranch.
